Crystal view Remote User Receiver only for use with local unit ( not supplied ) CrystalView allows you to position your KVM station up to 1,000 feet away from your computer using common twisted-pair CAT5 cabling. Video equalization and gain controls adjust brightness and clarity to compensate for for image quality loss over long cabling. Access to your computers is made convenient in a variety of situations. You can remotely access and control computers in a data centre from your desk. You can remove computers from hazardous industrial environments or locations vulnerable from theft (of hardware or data) and put them in a dedicated host room, controllable from anywhere. Heat and noise is reduced, desk and floor space is increased. Computers can even be moved into a central location for easy maintenance. The CrystalView Extender is available in two models, single and dual. The single model simply extends your KVM station from your computer. The dual version allows an additional KVM station, and PS/2 mouse next to the PC, providing operation from either of two locations. Easy to install, easy to use - CrystalView is ideal for medium and long distance communication for KVM switches.
