Description:

The Smart-e 4K-TX840 is a 1 in and 4 out HDBaseT splitter with Ethernet and IR pass-through (using the appropriate receiver). The 4K-TX840 is a self contained HDBaseT splitter capable of transmitting HDMI signals up to 4K UHD resolutions over 100m of Cat 6 cable. A single HDMI input can be connected to the rear of the unit where it gets split internally and then fed to 4 separate HDBaseT outputs. The 4K-TX840 also contains a 6 x 100BaseT Ethernet switch with 2 ports being available on the rear whilst the other 4 connect internally to the HDBaseT signals. Using a suitable receiver the Ethernet is available at the remote end allowing connection to a Smart Display or other Ethernet controlled device. Each HDBaseT connection also allows for Infrared signals to be received back from the receiver enabling remote control of the source device.
