Description:

The 5-15 to C13 is a common USA PC power cord. The male plug SVT inserts into a conventional USA home receptacle but is now often used in data centers. The NEMA 5-15P is 3 pole earthed plug rated for 125V max. The earth is a 4.763 mm diameter round pin which is 3.175 mm longer than the live and neutral power blades ensuring the device is earthed before the power is connected. SJT is designed for Hard Service applications that require twice the insulation of SVT. Thus the SVT insulation is thinner and more flexible than SJT. Quality SVT power cords meet 10A and 250V
