Flexibility and Modularity
The interior features an aluminium frame with T-slots and threaded mounting rails, allowing accessories and components to be adjusted infinitely in all three dimensions (width, depth, and height).
Most accessories and components can be mounted or removed from the inside of the cabinet, even when units are bayed together.
The modular roof design provides ample space for top-of-cabinet infrastructure, including power and data cabling, with easy-to-use, full-depth cut-outs and modular inserts.
Airflow and Energy Efficiency
The design focuses on optimising energy efficiency by ensuring best-in-class air tightness.
Various airflow management packages and accessories (such as sealing strips and plates) are available to minimize air leakage and recirculation, effectively separating hot and cold airflows.
Security
Nexpand offers high-level access security with support for both standard mechanical locks and intelligent smart locks.
Smart locks enable remote monitoring of access and environmental factors like temperature and humidity through integrated sensors.
The locking mechanisms and associated cabling are integrated into the door to prevent damage or tampering.
Solid Construction and Design
The cabinets feature a light but solid aluminium frame with a high static load capacity of up to 1500 kg (approx. 3,500 lbs), ensuring durability and reliability.
Doors are reversible (left or right hinged) and can open wide (up to 165° for bayed, 260° for stand-alone cabinets) for easy access during installation and maintenance.
Cable Management
The design provides ample space and dedicated pathways for high-density cabling, including vertical cable ducts and top-of-cabinet options for power distribution units (PDUs) and data cables.
Cable management accessories can be flexibly mounted at any depth without tools, using an O-ring configuration, to keep cabling organized and improve airflow.
